Our Mission

SHI Integrative Medical Massage School is a professional, career-oriented school with a 20 year tradition of high quality education. Professional caring faculty encourage graduates to embrace a strong sense of professional commitment, personal growth, community service and ethics as medically licensed massage therapists.

Our Program

SHI consistently maintains the highest pass rate in Dayton-Cincinnati for massage school graduates who take the State Licensure Exam for the first time. SHI is the only school in southern Ohio that has affiliation agreements for outreach with several hospitals and private medical offices. SHI offers diploma or non-degree program at it's main campus. SHI, in partnership with Sinclair Community College in Dayton and Cincinnati State Technical Community College, offer Associate Degrees in Integrative Medical Massage.

Students receive a well rounded education which enables them to assess and treat musculoskeletal disorders in compliance with state law. The curriculum includes Human Anatomy and Physiology, Systemic Pathology, Structural Pathology, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Myoneural Therapy, Muscle Energy Concepts, Positional Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, Professional Ethics, Hydrotherapy and Thermal Modalities, Business Practices, Ohio Law, Outreach experiences at a variety of sites, and Student Clinic.
